About

The White Library Story

Bonjour and welcome from the creatives at Sandra Downie.  Just as a brick and mortar library is used as a resource for information, The White Library (TWL) is a daily resource devoted to inspiration for stylish and creative home entertaining, design ideas, diy projects, beautiful celebrations and living a beautiful life.

The readers of TWL are looking for creative ways to tell their story with beautiful and personal touches outside of the norm. This is why we strive to feature content that is inspiring to the mind and chic in style. From party/wedding styling tips to DIY projects,  inspired home living ideas to recipes, we are excited to inspire our readers.

Life is about making memories, so go ahead and stay a while, grab a cup o’ jo , read on…heck even leave a comment or two (we love to know what our readers think about what we are featuring)  and let your creative juices flow and your personal stories bloom!

Meet Laura, DIY & Crafts Contributor

Currently an editor in the publishing industry, Laura aspires to create pretty little things for inspiring events. As a recent bride, she designed every bit of her wedding and discovered her love for craft paper, Michael’s, and glue guns. During the process, she became obsessed with wedding and design blogs, collecting countless DIY ideas and slowly taking over half of the living room with her projects. She is excited to share all that she’s learned and hopes to inspire others to get their paws dirty with a little DIY. When she’s not editing her blog, You Stir Me, cooking up “masterpieces” in the kitchen, or sharing crafty ideas among friends, you can find her up on her family’s apple farm with her dog, Lilly. Although she currently lives with her husband in NJ, she dreams of one day owning a house up north in the New England countryside
