Featured Wedding: {Our Clients} Kerry & Paul’s Cape Cod Inspired Wedding

It’s been almost a year since I did this wedding, but now that it’s Fall I think it’s a great time to share it for inspiration. Our clients Kerry & Paul grew up spending time on the Cape, so they asked me to incorporate this into the feel of their wedding. The lights went on in my head so I said, how about the classic stripes seen on the lighthouses there. They loved the idea so there we were. Kerry, the Bride, loved magenta & navy blue so that is how the colors were chosen. The wedding took place at the Inn at Longshore in Westport and was beautifully captured by the ever so talented Melani of Melani Lust Photography. It was one of the best days of the year for us!

How amazing is the lighting here. Melani is genius!

The heritage table included many of our vintage props that helped bring an authentic old feeling to the table.

I had our graphic designer incorporate the Cape Cod stripes and the couples initials onto custom drink flags for their signature Cape Codder drink.

As a surprise to Kerry and Paul, I had little dollar bills designed with their picture in the middle that had the words, “Candy Store Buck. Thank Your for Sharing Our Special Day and Please Redeem at the Candy Store”  on them. This was a cute way to let the guests know the candy bar was their wedding favor. It was pretty funny to see the little kids running around collecting them, thinking if they had more bucks they could get more candy. Printables by Kori of Paper and Pigtails
