I am still waiting to get into the grove of things for 2012. I still haven’t been sleeping well. Not sure if it’s because I have so many ideas/inspirations brewing in my head or I’m just wanting Spring to rear it’s pretty head. One thing I am very excited about is taking some R&R trips this year with the hubby. For sure we are going to Napa and Montreal, but I may just have to add Round Top, Texas to the list.
One of my style inspirations (and also to many) Rachel Ashwell, has recently purchased and refurbished a Bed & Breakfast called The Prairie (yes peeps, it is on a prairie). Like seriously, a business venture like this is soooo her. I am glad she is expanding into new ways for her fans to enjoy her. It look so peaceful and relaxing and the rates, to me, are rather reasonable.
Stylishly decorated in her signature shabby chic style, Rachel has made this a true destination for people who are all about the pretty, all about the ruffly and most definitely all about relaxing. There are five eclectic properties on the ranch comprised of outbuildings, cabins, barns and cottages. Of course all the spaces are decked out in the sumptuous luxury of Rachel Ashwell’s textiles and have been personally decorated by the style maven herself. Truly, this is a place to consider visiting (as a foodie, a yummy country breakfast sounds so enticing). Yes, lovelies, there is an on-site boutique there, so no fear, you will be able to take a piece of pretty back home with you.
A beautiful space to enjoy your meals
You can even have a wedding or event there…OMG can you say Rustic Chic Wedding!
Isn’t the shop lovely. Rachel, can I please have that bed?

I would be fearful of getting something dirty and it would freak me out completely. It’s just too pretty.
